A few months ago, I joined Lucidity, drawn by the bold vision, customer obsession, and relentless execution across product innovation, customer adoption, and the development of a strong partner ecosystem. All of it powered by an incredible global team.

Today, I’m proud to share that Lucidity has been named a finalist in two categories at the 2025 SaaS Awards:

  • Most Innovative SaaS Solution
  • Best SaaS Solution for IT and DevOps

As someone new to the team but not new to the space, it’s been inspiring to witness firsthand how fast Lucidity is moving:

  • More customers onboard.
  • A rapidly expanding product portfolio—including announcing Lumen, the industry’s first engine that brings together visibility, recommendations, and one-click actions for managing cloud storage.
  • And growing industry recognition—most recently a mention in Gartner’s “Top Practices for Optimizing Public Cloud Storage Costs” report.

Lucidity is solving one of the cloud’s most persistent challenges: overprovisioned, underutilized storage that’s painful, risky, and nearly impossible to manage manually at enterprise scale.

In nearly every customer conversation, one thing stands out—cloud storage visibility is virtually non-existent. As a result, storage becomes a silent drain on both budget and engineering hours.

What I’ve seen here isn’t just innovation for the sake of it—it’s targeted, technical, and outcome-driven.

From the fully autonomous AutoScaler, to the deep observability of Lumen, to the zero-risk storage Assessment that’s opened eyes across some of the world’s largest enterprises—we’re giving IT, DevOps, and FinOps teams the tools to finally take back control of their cloud estate.

And the results speak for themselves. Lucidity customers are:

Freeing up 50–70% of their cloud storage budget and accelerating their cloud journey and innovation

Reclaiming hundreds of Dev and IT hours

Experiencing stronger application performance and operational resilience

To be recognized in not one, but two categories—innovation and impact for IT/DevOps—is validation that we’re not just building smart software. We are solving real problems that can no longer be ignored. Problems that drain budgets, slow teams down, and hinder innovation.

For me personally, it’s been a privilege to join this journey, alongside a passionate team and visionary founders who aren’t afraid to challenge legacy assumptions and reset the standard for how cloud storage should be managed.

We’re excited to see the final results in August and grateful to be in such strong company. A big thank you to James Williams, CEO of The Cloud Awards, for recognizing the work Lucidity is doing and including us on this year’s shortlist, and also a big congratulations to the Cloud Awards team on their 10-year anniversary.

Onward.
