This fledgling community includes 1,700 people in the US alone and 8,800 worldwide who have FinOps in their professional designation.

FinOps X 2025, the premier FinOps conference, is set to take place from June 2-5, 2025, at Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina in San Diego, California. 

The venue for last year's FinOps X was Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina last year as well, and FinOps Foundation tends to choose the same location every year. So for those of you who’ve already attended – you probably already know how to find your way around!

This 3 day event offers a comprehensive agenda for FinOps professionals and enthusiasts. Here's a quick overview of the event schedule:

FinOps Foundation recommends arriving on June 1st if you’re a Pre-Conf Event Attendee and on June 2nd if you’re a General Attendee.

Official party and networking

FinOps Foundation is hosting an official FinOps X party on June 4 from 6 to 11 PM. Mark your calendar! It’s your chance to unwind, mingle with the community, and make meaningful connections in a relaxed setting. 

And the networking doesn’t stop there. On the morning of June 5, kick off the day with an early coffee and chat, followed by a networking breakfast that promises great conversations and even better company. How can you get FinOps X 2025 tickets and how much will they cost?

Registrations for FinOps X 2025 are open, and if you’re planning to attend you can sign up here. The conference ticket prices are as follows:

1. Non-member Vendor SME - $1999‍

This includes SMEs from vendors or service provider organizations that are not members.

2. End-User Practitioners and Member Vendors SME - $999

‍This includes end-user practitioners and SMEs from member organizations

3. Government Employees - $499

End-user practitioners from government agencies registering with a government email address

You can also add a Pre-Con Ticket to gain access to chalk talk workshops and networking lunch on June 2nd for $99.

In addition to access to all the main events at the conference, each ticket also gives you access to:

• Welcome reception at 5pm on June 2nd
• Most meals (select meals are covered in your ticket)
• Official party at 6pm on June 4th
• 50% off on all self-paced training and exam certifications

FinOps X 2025 also has a group rate of $899 per person for 3+ practitioner attendees from the same end-user organization. You can get this ticket by emailing FinOps Foundation at “x [at] finops [dot] org”.

Note that the conference ticket only covers entry to the conference. You’ll have to book your accommodation separately through the FinOps X website or find accommodation on your own. More on that below!
